Our Range Of Window Fly Screens
Hinged Fly Screen. This screen can be fitted over any UPVC, timber or metal casements. Sometimes, it is necessary to use our special plastic build off sub-frame to clear existing handles. Fibreglass mesh is fitted as standard, but stainless steel or aluminium mesh can be fitted where required. This screen is usually fitted internally, however, because of the durable powder coating, it can be fitted to any external application.
Our Sliding Screen. Can be fitted in front of or inside a window reveal. Cost effective when screening a window with multiple opening lights. Can be made with three sliding screens (triple slider) for extra wide windows. This unit is available in a horizontal sliding format making it ideal to install in front of any type of window.
Ventalite Roller Screen. This is our specially designed retractable screen with a fitted cassette complete with side channels, that allows the insect mesh to slide between brush seals inside the channel and locking into place at the bottom. This screen can be fitted inside the window reveal or can be fitted to the face of the reveal. Sometimes, it is necessary to use our special plastic build off sub-frame to clear existing handles.
Our Canopy Box. This type of canopy box can be fitted over any UPVC, timber or metal casements and is ideal for mounting over louvers or horizontal and vertical centre pivot windows where an internal fit is not feasible. Comes complete with a hinged screen. Fibreglass mesh is fitted as standard, but stainless steel mesh can be fitted where required.
Remote Operated Screens. This is an excellent option for the opening of high level or awkward windows. Can be used to open a bank of windows. By simply turning the winder handle it will open the window under the screen to allow varying degrees of ventilation without the inconvenience of removing the screen. Also available as a single hand operated winder unit.
Our Pivot Window Screen. Ideal for any horizontal metal casement centre pivot window. The window is used as normal. One screen fits at the top externally and one screen fits at the bottom internally, each screen has a special bristle fitted at the centre to form a seal against the glass in any position the window is opened to. This type of centre pivot window can be opened and screened effectively with a chain winder (see chain winder). Not suitable for vertical or timber framed pivot windows.
